Contributions from the FuturISE project group at ESPMH 2025 in Manchester

Lena Dörmann, Eva Katharina Boser and Niklas Ellerich-Groppe gave presentations on topics from the FuturISE project group at the 37th ESPMH (European Society for Philosphy of Medicine and Healthcare) conference in Manchester (UK). The conference was devoted to the topic “Bioethics and philosophy of medicine after COVID”.

Lena Dörmann gave a presentation on ‘End-of-life considerations: An ethical discussion of the concept of dignity in the context of dying during the COVID-19 pandemic’, Eva Katharina Boser on ‘Structural Injustices During the Covid-19 Pandemic’ and Niklas Ellerich-Groppe on “It’s Your Turn! – Intergenerational Turn-Taking as an Approach for a Sustainable and Future-Proof Healthcare System”.

Eva Katharina Boser also moderated a panel on the subject: ‘Impact on children and policy implications during COVID-19’.

The contributions served as starting points for constructive exchanges and exciting discussions with the audience.
